A place to meet for people with aphasia and their partners

Explore what you can achieve guided by speech and language therapists at Aph.Caf, Woburn Sands

How it all started

The Aphasia Café began over five years ago.

It was created to give people with aphasia a place to keep practising communication after formal therapy ended.

Since then, it has grown into a friendly community.

We have had guest speakers, visited museums.

What we offer

Aphasia can make everyday communication feel harder. But it does not have to stop people connecting, laughing, learning, or feeling part of something.

At the Aphasia Café, we create friendly, relaxed opportunities for people with aphasia to communicate in whatever way works for them.
